Titanite – Puiva mine, Russia
The specimen consists of scattered sharp brown twinned titanite crystals on a schist matrix. You can see some calcite blades among the titanite twins. The brownish chlorite is typical of the Ural localities like the Dodo and Puiva mines. You can learn more about these in the Mineralogical record 30: 451-465.
