Fluorite & Quartz – Les Droites, Mt-Blanc, France

this very odd-looking fluorite on quartz comes from a rare find made by C. Peray & S. Khayati in 2016. It’s actually a cluster of complex crystallization of pale pink / purple fluorite on top of a single smoky quartz crystal. To our knowledge, this was the only find of such fluorite formations in this Mont-Blanc area. The specimen is perfect, without damage.
