Amethyst scepter – Les Droites, Mont-Blanc
Here is a rare amethyst scepter crysta on its matrix. Amethyst is a scarce mineral in the Alps mountains, especially in the Mont-Blanc area. This specimen was found by the famous crystal seeker Christophe Peray. These scepters are most often found removed from their matrix, this one is still in place. No damage to report. A nice and rare example of French alpine amethyst.
