Amethyst scepter – Les Droites, Mont-Blanc
Amethyst is a scarce mineral in the Alps mountains, especially in the Mont-Blanc area. This specimen is bi-terminated and damageless with a perfect tip. While many amethysts from this locality are very pale, this one has a shows a beautiful mix of purple and smoky color. This specimen was found by the famous crystal seeker Christophe Peray.
