Brookite – Tête Noire, Switzerland

The Trient locality has seen some of the best brookites from the Swiss Alps. This one is a single crystal standing perfectly on its matrix. The brookite itself is damageless and lustrous. The shape and thin dark line in the middle are typical of this locality. A nice example of rare and desirable alpine brookite.
