Apatite & Albite – Arondu, Pakistan

Here is a cluster of tabular and very lustrous hexagonal crystals of Fluorapatite from the alpine-type deposits in the Shigar Valley. The contrast is given by micro crystals of chlorite. This apatite-chlorite combination remembers the similar specimens coming from the Austrian Alps. Albite and adularia are also visible at the back of the specimen.
