Quartz var. Amethyst

Saurüssel, Zillertal, Tyrol, Austria

A sharp terminated, very glossy amethyst crystal on minor matrix at the base. Alpine amethyste is generally very rare, but from this locality more or less impossible to find! The good discoveries were done 30 to 50 years ago, today you would need years and great luck just to find such a nice, small crystal on matrix. No significant damages to report. Size: 26mm x 19mm x 13mm

Ref. QW015 – 200€
